I love everything about style and design. You could say I am obsessed. I also love people. I really love that each person has their very own taste and style. Whether mainstream or not, style is a perfect way to express who you are and how you want people to perceive you. I am passionate about helping people find and hone their unique style and create a lifestyle that fits their individual needs and budget-big or small. I do believe that all things style should be fun and affordable- you should enjoy the creative process and not stress about it. I do not believe you have to spend tons of time or money to make your home,wardrobe and lifestyle beautiful and pulled together. I work very hard to keep the design process balanced by listening to my client’s wants and needs and prioritizing these to get the best results by maximizing the aesthetic and functionality of their space and wardrobe.
Today, it seems that style is all around us more than ever before. It is plastered all over the television, internet, magazines and in every store front virtual or brick and mortar. There are so many resources to choose from that it can be very confusing and intimidating to navigate them all. I want Edie Couture Style to help you navigate all these choices and find what works best for you
For the past 13 years I have owned my own jewelry business, Edie Couture Jewelry, that was inspired by my grandmother. I have learned so much both on the design side and the business side but what I think I have learned the most is that in order to evolve and stay relevant in this crazy world of ours you have to always be re inventing your personal style, your space, your look, your world. That doesn’t mean you have to run out and purchase all of the newest, trendy items. You want to stay true to who you are and what makes you, you. Here is where Edie Couture Style comes in. I live, sleep and breath all of these resources. I know which resources to tap into that will work with your style and budget. By mixing old and new, high end and thrift, modern and traditional,family heirlooms and chic new baubles with patterns, textures and colors I can help you curate your perfect style.
MY INSPIRATION
MEET MY GRANDMOTHER EDIE
This is one of my favorite photos of my Grandmother, Edie. It was taken when she joined the Eastern Stars. I keep her Eastern Stars pin in my jewelry box. I can still vividly picture myself as a little girl sitting in her bedroom looking through her jewelry box, studying and cherishing every bauble. I would ask her when she got it and where she wore it. Each piece had its own story. My grandmother was such an amazing and sharing lady. I never had a visit to her home when I left empty-handed. I'm not sure anyone ever did.
Although she is gone now, she will live on forever in my heart as the greatest inspiration in my style, my business and my life. I want to carry on her amazing legacy by sharing my love for jewelry, clothing and design with others. I want to create jewelry, wardrobes and spaces for my clients that will one day hold special stories for them as well.
